The Standard Plan

The Standard Rate Plan, also known as the PAY AS YOU GO PLAN, is designed for the very light cellular user, who does not need a lot of anything, on a regular basis, but wants the security of knowing they have a cellular phone in case they need it.  If you use LESS than 166 minutes per month, on average (taking into account all night, weekend,  and mobile to mobile minutes you may have had on another carrier), the Standard Rate Plan would be perfect for you.

This plan, the Standard Rate Plan, can cost you as little as $10.00 every 120 days ($30.00 per year), or as much as $80.00 per year, for a basic plan.  You can refill as needed, whenever you need more minutes.  As you "use more" minutes, messages or data, and you notice your cost going up, you may wish, at some point, to go up to a monthly plan - but many customers find the freedom of PAY AS YOU GO to be liberating, and quite comfortable!

Standard Plan Terms: Basic domestic rates start as low as 4 cents per minute. Card lifespan is 120 days for the $10, $25 or $50 cards, and 1 Year/365 Days for the $80 card. The balance will get carried forward when replenished before 120 days or 1 Year (depending on your expiration date) from the last replenishment.

All prices listed below include all taxes & surcharges.

There is a $0.50 monthly service charge applied on the 25th of each month.  This 50 cent fee goes to PagePlus Cellular, it is NOT charged by Kitty Wireless.

10 Cents per Minute:  $10.00 / 100 Minute Refill Card (Good for 120 Days)
6 Cents per Minute:  $25.00 / 400 Minute Refill Card (Good for 120 Days)
5 Cents per Minute:  $50.00 / 1000 Minute Refill Card (Good for 120 Days)
4 Cents per Minute:  $80.00 / 2000 Minute Refill Card  (Good for 1 YEAR/365 Days)

As long as you add a NEW PIN within the 120 Days or the 1 Year, your existing balance will rollover into your future balance and your expiration date will be extended by either 120 Days or 1 Year from the date you add the next card.  (depending on if you add a $10/$25/$50 card or an $80 card.) 120 Day and 1 Year Periods do not "stack" on top of each other. 

Page Plus runs on a FIRST IN, FIRST OUT system.

Meaning, if you add a $10.00 card, and then a $25.00 card, the first $10.00 is billed at 10 cents per minute, and the next $25.00 is billed at 6 cents per minute, until your balance reaches zero.

While we cannot give you an exact estimate or exact numbers, we can provide you with some general figures to help you figure out how much data this plan will deliver for you on average,  so that you can plan accordingly.

1 hour of web
browsing = 20mb

1 minute of streaming
video = 4MB

100 average emails without attachment = 1MB

1 average MP3
download = 5MB

NOTE: A kilobyte(kb) is a unit of measurement for data. There are 1,024 kilobytes in 1 megabyte(MB). Amount of data used while Web browsing varies based on the complexity of the Web page itself, the number of graphics or multimedia on a page, the quality of the graphics and the device used.

Power Texting Packages can ONLY be added onto an account that is on the Standard Plan.  You cannot add a Power Texting package in addition to a monthly plan.  Power Text packages include text messages that you can use with the Standard Rate plan. They are ideal if you send and receive many text messages,  but don't use many minutes. If you use many minutes, you should consider the Unlimited Talk & Text plan.
