c)  100mb of Data per month will stay the same (but see below!)

Customers who are currently on a Talk n Text 1200 plan will get the new allocation of Text Messages upon their next cycle renewal.  There is no possible way to modify a plan in progress.

For this plan only, Talk n Text 1200, the following overage rates will apply from this point forward (Overage Rates for Power Texting and Unlimited Talk n Text will remain unchanged at their old rates, see our website for information):

d)  The 15 Cent per Megabyte over 100mb is now 10 Cents per Megabyte!!

e)  The 15 Cent per Text Message over 3000 is now 5 Cents per Text Message!! (The MMS overage rate remains at 10 cents per MMS Message)

f)  The 10 Cent per Minute over 1200 is now 5 Cents per Minute !!

These overage rates are a HUGE bonus for Talk n Text 1200 people.  You can now add 100mb of extra data for $10 and 250mb of extra data for $25.

To add extra data to your Talk n Text 1200 plan, all you need to do is purchase a One Time $10 or $25 PIN from this page, we will add it for you, and you'll be able to use overage data at the lower rate, effective immediately.

REMINDER for Talk n Text 1200 Customers on Kitty AutoPay (and those not on Autopay as well):  Talk n Text 1200 plan customers should not keep a cash balance of more than $29.94 in their cash account at any given time - doing so will prompt Page Plus to debit your cash balance for plan renewals instead of leaving those funds alone for overage needs.  Funds under $29.94 in your cash account on your Talk n Text 1200 will remain there until you use them.

Highlights - February 2011

02/17/2011 - Talk n Text 1200 is EXPANDED - We are very pleased to announce that, effective Thursday, February 17th, the Talk n Text 1200 plan will now include 100MB of data and 2,000 text/MMS messages.  The data overage rate has also been lowered from $.60/MB to $.15/MB for both the Talk n Text 1200 and the Unlimited Talk n Text plans.  A customer on either plan will now be able to add $10 to their account, for example, to get an additional 66 MB of data usage.

In addition, the overage rate for voice minutes on the Talk n Text 1200 plan has been reduced from $.12 to $.10 per minute.  The Talk n Text 1200 plan name will remain the same, as well the $29.95 per month price.  All current Talk n Text 1200 cards/PINs already in the distribution channel WILL automatically convert to the new plan allowances when they are loaded.

We believe these exciting plan changes will be welcomed news for all of you out there who have been asking for more data!  It is probably the biggest single request we hear.  At a time when some carriers are limiting their data and moving from Unlimited to tiered data pricing, we believe that these plan changes will give you an even better opportunity for an incredibly affordable bundle plan for only $29.95 per month!

02/10/2011 - Verizon iPhones NOT ALLOWED - It is official.  The OTHER NETWORK PROVIDER iPhone device is not allowed on PagePlus Cellular's network.  Here is the official word direct from PagePlus Cellular:

"As you are probably aware, the Apple iPhone is launching on Verizon Wireless.  This message is to inform you that the iPhones are NOT allowed to be activated on Page Plus Cellular.  There are no exceptions.  Should an iPhone activate on Page Plus, it will be subject to suspension or deactivation.  Thank you for you cooperation in this matter."

Our response?  No big deal.  Droids are way better anyway!

Highlights - December 2010

12/09/2010 - $80.00/2000 Minute Card Now Good for 1 Full Year - Holland, OH, December 9, 2010 – Nationwide prepaid cell phone service provider Page Plus Cellular today announced a new annual cell phone plan aimed at low-usage, voice-only customers. The plan provides 2,000 airtime minutes for use over a one year period for $80, which equates to $.04 per minute.

The plan is a modification of Page Plus’ current Standard voice-only plan, which currently has a 120-day replenishment requirement. Standard voice plan cards, or PINs, are offered in denominations of $10, $25, $50 and $80, with corresponding per-minute rates of $.04 to $.10 (the higher the card/PIN value, the lower the per-minute rate). The new annual plan extends the term of the $80 card/PIN from 120 days to one year.

The prepaid service provider said its pay-as-you-go customers will benefit from the low rate and extended term of the plan. It offers extremely good value for relatively low-usage cell phone customers, while providing the convenience of only having to purchase minutes once a year. Factoring in the $.50 monthly maintenance fee charged on the Standard plan, a customer can talk for 166 minutes for about $7 a month on average, and not have to pay a bill or add funds for a full year.

While the plan provides voice minutes only and includes certain features such as caller ID and voicemail for free, other services such as text messaging and data transfer can also be used for additional charges, as described on the company’s Web site at www.PagePlusCellular.com. In addition, an unlimited text messaging plan can be added on for $15.00 per month.
