What is this service?: An ESN/Device Release is used to release a device from an
existing PagePlus Cellular phone number. Doing so will put the phone
number onto a temporary storage ESN, and we will let you know what that
temporary storage ESN is.
Our systems
go offline between 11:30pm EST and 1:30am EST every night. If you
submit your order during this time, it will be processed AFTER 1:30am.
We do NOT recommend submitting orders between this time. If your order
gets hung up in overnight maintenance, we will fix it manually the next
morning.

This will FREE UP that device for re-activation on another line, or to be sold on eBay or another medium. Your phone number will be saved for 120 Days from the last date you refilled/renewed, for future use.
Orders submitted between 11:30pm - 1:30am Eastern Time each night will be put into queue and processed when the system comes back online at 1:30am. The Page Plus System goes offline for maintenance during this time.
